Blog housekeeping--starting to label

I was just at a friend's blog and realized how useful his post labels are when I'm coming new to a blog. So I've decided gradually to start going back through my posts and labeling them. Should have done that to begin with, of course. What this means is that for the time being, the labels won't show you complete lists. So if you go to "hymns," you'll probably be thinking, "I know she has way more posts than that on hymns." Hopefully I'll get them all in there eventually, unless this fiddly project falls by the wayside.

I tried that. Unfortunately, my labels were 'zoe', 'zoe', 'zoe', 'zoe'... I'd considered doing it by outfit or location.

Todd, obviously you need to stop playing close to the vest and start telling us all what you really think about all that's going on in the world. :-)

Hey, I did them all. Now I have too many labels. For example, there are a lot more posts that really should be labeled "Christianity and devotional thoughts," but most of those are labeled "collects," and I invented the "Christianity and devotional thoughts" label for posts that didn't fit into any other category, and I'm too lazy to go through and double-label all of the others. Still, it imparts _some_ organization to the blog. Anyone who wants to find most of my posts with humor in them can now click on "humor."

I'm completely surrounded with people who don't share a single iota of my beliefs most days, so for safety's sake, I try to keep my commentary under wraps or at least on the down-low.

Were I only more brave... I'd probably be less employed.

LOL - I love it! I, unfortunately, am not nearly as cautious as you and actually pointed my boss to my blog during a recent goal-setting session. He wrote to me later to tell me that he had read quite a bit of my blog and disagreed with most of it. Oops.

Lydia (and Todd) - I'd recommend labels like: truth, things I wish were true, falsehoods, and lies. That makes it much more simple to label things for me. I haven't hit any truth posts yet, but if I do I think I'll add that label to it. Most of my labels are just further evidences of psychosis.
