Merry Christmas!

And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Thanks be to God!

A blessed feast of the Nativity of Our Lord to my readers.

Merry Christmas. And I'll bet yours is white. Sun's shining down here, temp in the 70's. But I hear the Child is one for all seasons.

Merry Christmas, Bill!!

Well, it was looking green but unpleasant this morning but now is snowing again. In the night we got some of the weirdest weather I've ever seen in these parts. The wind began blowing fit to pick the house up along about 4 or 5 a.m., and it rained. By the morning the wind wasn't letting up, but the rain had stopped. Snow was gone, which was fine, because yesterday it was looking grey and dirty anyway. Trees had brought down power lines to our neighborhood, the power was out, and our neighbor's fence was blown down into our yard. (He thinks it's our fence, so I think we'll have to go halves on having it carted away.) When we got back from church (which had power) the wind had literally picked up his fence from one side and thrown it down the other way, into _his_ yard. It was wild. The temperature was 18, with the wind making it feel like zero, and the house was getting cold. Thank goodness the power came back on about an hour ago so I could make coffee. It's snowing now.

I guess you wouldn't like it up here. But it can be very pretty.

Yes, I heard about that storm on the news. Glad you're ok. I've grown to like the warm weather, but I used to live in northern Illinois, where the winters were severe, and in Germany where they were simply beautiful. I could learn to live in it again. Snow speaks to something in me, but I don't know what or why.

You cd. work up a sweat shoveling in the winter when there was no mowing and then drink beer, only inside. :-) And you could paint it from life.

All sounds good.

A gracious and bountiful Christ Mass I wish for you, Lydia.

You can know the adoration with which a true lover approaches Christ, and the depth of adoration a believer feels when turning heart and soul toward the 'one like unto the son of man'.

May the good Lord in His wisdom send light and love into your life in great abundance.

Thanks, Karridine. Didn't know you were a reader. (As of yet I count them on the fingers of one hand. :-)) Merry Christmas to you, too. I think I saw you post a comment over at Israel Matzav, so maybe that's the connection. Take care!
