What's not to love?Lydia McGrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00423567323116960820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20704380.post-9977138841111017362008-11-13T10:53:00.000-05:002008-11-13T10:53:00.000-05:00I purchased the concert video that this was excerp...I purchased the concert video that this was excerpted from about 15 years ago (on Beta tape). The whole thing was fantastic.

Bob Kauflin, the leader of Glad, is now the head of Sovereign Grace Ministries and has some fantastic worship music resources. Our worship team is currently working on some songs Bob Kauflin's group produced that are based on Puritan prayers. It's some great music.

I remember purchasing the very first Glad record when I was at BBC. They were really a great group. And they did an a capella Gerswhin album that was beyond belief and no one ever heard of.Richard Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17633639712911093318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20704380.post-66522087505155819232008-11-11T08:36:00.000-05:002008-11-11T08:36:00.000-05:00These guys were pretty big in the evangelical Chri...These guys were pretty big in the evangelical Christian music world for a long time. I don't know what they're doing nowadays or what year these clips are from. I'm not too well-informed about these things. But Eldest Daughter constantly bemoans the dreadful state of our local Christian contemporary station. I gather the music there is all screamy or humorously bad, musically, whereas it was different even just five to ten years ago. I suppose she's asking your question on the Christian side. When she showed me the "Just As I Am" clip, she said, "Can you believe they used to play these guys on WCSG?" I ask her why she listens to the station anymore, and she says that every once in a while they still play something good.Lydia McGrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00423567323116960820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20704380.post-24011993340537144292008-11-11T01:54:00.000-05:002008-11-11T01:54:00.000-05:00Enjoyed it.
